Brest 2012. The greatest maritime festival ever organised

For its 20th anniversary, the international maritime festival turned into the greatest maritime festival ever organised bringing together the world’s greatest sailing boats and fastest racing boats, Indonesian traditional small boats and a Russian icebreaker, the Saint Petersburg.

90 hectares of land were dedicated to exhibitions and other events related to the sea, science and the arts with over 3,800 traditional musicians and artists from around the world. 3,000 boats took part in the grand parade between Brest and Douarnenez and the festival received international coverage.
